Upgrade your particles in the original fashion of GTA SA.

Version 1:

Upgraded the particles.

Features:

Soft low resolution shadows that are almost like ambient occlusion.
Medium resolution textures for optimal performance (maximum 256 pixels).
Fixed seems in the original 256 x 256 pixels water texture.

I have seen many GTAV to GTASA plate mods, but none of them are carefully repackaged for GTASA. So I made my own one. Textures are ripped straight out of GTAV and put together for GTASA.

Make sure you have a tool to open .txd files.

GTASA USA Platechart 2.0

Do you play with the original vehicles in San Andreas? then you may like this little fix.

As you may have noticed, Rockstars' plates have various flaws. They are just about legible and the colours do not synchronize with the plate. The font is also odd, it's as if it was based on a digital clock! This quick modification will fix these issues and bring back the plates as they were intended by Rockstar.

Make sure you have a tool to open .txd files.

Installation 1.0:

1. Download this image file (The one on the left):

2. Navigate to you GTA SA main directory.
3. Go to the file: models > generic > vehicle.txd.
4. Now find the image "platecharset", replace it (CNTRL + R) & save (CNTRL + S).

Version 2.0:

Increased letters height to occupy the full GTA SA plates.

Extras:

For modders who have custom plates or want to change something, the transparent version is available.

A Timecycle that corrects only the cyan sky colours to make San Andreas more like planet earth. Obviously, sometimes there will be some cyan colours because in the real world they are present. But the overdone cyan atmosphere will no longer be a thing. I have seen many timecycle upgrades and fixes, but have never seen a cyan colours hue adjusted standalone.

Version 1.2:

Added a softer version.
Further refined glaring lower sky colours.
Corrected sky colours.
Fixed odd over-saturated blues during foggy weather.
Removed blood red skies from some rainy weather.

Features:

Untouched parameters, but removed cyan atmosphere.

Makes all the weather colours grey, so that you can create a brand new Timecycle of your own from scratch!

Version 1:

Minor option added.
Fixed water alphas.

Features:

A  Timecycle file with all colours in grey (128,128,128).
A second option with grey skies.

The original style low poly vehicles. For those who couldn't find the link!

I for one put these files into the gta3.img because this is the way the original vehicles should have been.
